ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail, Commercial, Corporate, FIs, and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing, and Islamic finance.
Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 35 countries and more than 60,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire a motivated UX/UI Designer to join our Product Strategy & Innovation team in Tunis. The incumbent will contribute to the design of secure, intuitive, and user-centered digital experiences for Axe Finance’s web and mobile product, ACP. They will work closely with senior designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into high-quality visual experiences from concept to launch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Own the design of end-to-end user experiences for web and mobile products, from research and concept through delivery and iteration.
· Translate user research, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive, usable, and accessible design solutions.
· Create and maintain design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design intent.
· Contributes to the evolution and consistent application of design systems, UI standards, and guidelines across Axe Finance Product: ACP
· Integrates secure-by-design and compliance-aware principles within regulated environments.
· Participates in usability evaluations and feedback cycles to improve usability, performance, and experience quality.
· Contribute to design discussions, reviews, and ideation sessions, providing constructive input and design rationale.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's or master's degree in digital design or related field.
· 2–3 years of experience in product or UI/UX design, with a focus on digital products; experience working on fintech products is a plus.
· Working knowledge of design systems, style guides, and consistent UI standards.
· Familiarity with responsive web design and native mobile design patterns (iOS and Android).
· Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), or equivalent tools.
· Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles to support effective collaboration with development teams.
· High attention to detail and creative flair in translating requirements into engaging, user-friendly digital interfaces.
· Excellent organizational, multi-tasking & time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams & across all levels of the organization.
· Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken; proficiency in Arabic is also preferred.
