Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 32 countries and more than 45,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Business Development team in Tunis. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and shall lead the marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shape & lead global marketing strategy to drive growth, market presence and positioning in international B2B financial services markets.
-Actively contribute - in close alignment with the CCO - to corporate priorities & long-term planning.
- Oversee brand, digital, and CRM-driven marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive, impactful and data-driven approach across regions and channels.
-Provide market intelligence & customer insights to influence product innovation, global & regional go-to-market strategies and overall business direction.
-Spearhead strategic partnerships, alliances and collaborations that strengthen the company’s position in the global fintech ecosystem.
-Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth - develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive new logo acquisition and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts.
-Market Expansion Strategy - support entry into new geographies by crafting localized messaging and go-to-market plans aligned with sales priorities.
-Campaign Execution & Analytics. Own the marketing funnel - tracking performance, optimizing spend, and reporting on ROI across digital and offline channels.
-Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership - elevate Axe Finance’s brand and capabilities through strategic content, events, and executive-level engagement.
-Stakeholder Engagement - build credibility with senior decision makers (CEOs, CROs, Heads of Lending) through tailored outreach and consultative messaging.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration - work closely with Sales, Product, and Executive teams to align marketing efforts with commercial goals.
-Represent the company externally at key industry events and conferences strengthening the company’s reputation and positioning.
-Manage, mentor and develop the marketing team, building a high-performing culture.
-Manage resources and partnerships, oversee budgets & campaigns to maximize ROI.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
-Degree in marketing or related field; Master’s or certification in digital/strategic marketing is a plus.
-10+ years marketing experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
-Extensive experience in B2B marketing, ideally within fintech/enterprise software.
-Proven success managing account-based marketing, international campaigns, brand positioning and expanding to new markets.
-Hands-on experience with CRM systems, digital marketing, data analytics and customer insights.
-Solid experience in budget management, forecasting and ROI optimization.
-Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse multi-regional team.
-Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence.
-Excellent organizational, multi-tasking & time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
-Excellent levels of English and French (both written & oral).
