We are currently seeking to hire an HR specialist to join the HR team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for the Mumbai/India office, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer management, and onboarding support.

· Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR/People team in Tunisia to understand hiring needs, define sourcing plans, draft job profiles/specifications, and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

· Use job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment partners, and other sourcing channels to identify and attract suitable candidates.

· Ensure effective use of the company’s ATS and maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate tracking, stakeholder updates, and talent acquisition reports.

· Support monthly payroll processing for the India office by coordinating with the external payroll vendor, Finance team, employees, and the HR/People team in Tunisia.

· Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employee documentation, HR records, HR reporting, and employee queries.

· Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries and grievances in the Mumbai office, ensuring timely, fair, and confidential handling and escalating sensitive or complex matters to the manager/HRBP when required.

· Support the administration of employee benefits and HR programs for the Mumbai office.

· Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, employee events, team-building activities, wellbeing initiatives, and recognition programs.

· Support compliance with applicable Indian labour laws and statutory requirements and maintain relevant documentation for audits and regulatory needs.

· Support the development, implementation, and improvement of HR policies, processes, and systems in alignment with global HR frameworks.

· Coordinate regularly with the HR/People team in Tunisia across recruitment, payroll, compliance, engagement, reporting, and other HR activities.

· Prepare and maintain TA reports, HR metrics and documentation as required.

· Support employer branding, HRBP initiatives, and other HR projects as required.

· Maintain effective relationships with internal and external HR stakeholders and provide backup support to other HR activities when needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Operations role with exposure to talent acquisition.

· Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, HR operations, employee engagement, and HR compliance.

· Practical knowledge of applicable Indian labour laws and statutory HR requirements.

· Experience working with an ATS/HRIS or HR management system and familiarity with job boards and social media sourcing.

· Experience working with remote, cross-functional, or international teams is an advantage.

· Experience in the fintech, software, technology, or other fast-paced industries is preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

· Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with appropriate escalation when required.

· Excellent level of English is required.
