We are seeking a Cloud Administrator who will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing cloud-based infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud services while aligning with organizational and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components)

  • Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot system issues to ensure availability and reliability

  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to improve cost-efficiency and performance

  • Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support business and technical requirements

  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure

  • Develop and implement automation processes to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual effort

  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and technologies to enhance performance, security, and efficiency

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and procedures

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 2–3 years of experience in cloud administration (preferably in fintech or software industry)

  • Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Solid understanding of virtualization technologies

  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewall configuration)

  • Programming skills in Python or Java

  • Working knowledge of cloud resource management

  • Understanding of cloud security principles and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration across teams and organizational levels

  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
