Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 32 countries and more than 45,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire highly motivated UI/UX Designer to join our Product Strategy & Innovation team in our Tunis office. The incumbent will have the opportunity to influence product design and create high-fidelity mock-ups, iconography, UI illustration and other graphic assets for a range of products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behavior
- Creating wireframe and prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including products managers, developers and CDS teams to translate user requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Ensuring consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints to maintain a seamless user experience
- Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to refine designs and improve usability
- Staying updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Advocating user-centered design principals and championing the importance of usability throughout the product development process
CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline from a leading university/institute.
- 1- 2 years of experience in UX/UI Design, or related field, preferably in a SaaS or tech-focused company.
- Strong portfolio to be presented demonstrating UI design skills.
- Solid design fundamentals like typography, color theory, layout, responsive web design and user-centered design principles.
- Well versed with Responsive Web, iOS, and Android design patterns.
- Proficient in working with Adobe Creative suite, experience with HTML and CSS is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, and scrum principles is preferred.
- Excellent organizational & time management skills. Ability to work in a face-paced environment, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
- Excellent visual communication skills & ability to effectively present ideas/designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to help others.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment & across all levels of the organization.
- Good level of English and French (written & oral).
