ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail, Commercial, Corporate, FIs, and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing, and Islamic finance.

Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 32 countries and more than 45,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire a Product Analyst to join our team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to uncover industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitive strategies.
  • Prepare data collection and analysis efforts using advanced tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software to extract insights that guide product strategy.
  • Support product development by defining and prioritizing features, writing detailed product requirements, and managing the product backlog.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as development, marketing, and sales, to ensure that product initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on product performance metrics to stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders by providing regular updates on product development progress and key milestones.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the product remains competitive and compliant with industry standards.
  • Participate in the creation of product roadmaps, helping to set timelines and milestones based on strategic goals and market demands.
  • Continuously improve product management practices by staying informed on the latest tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.


CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably within a fintech or technology-driven environment.
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advance understanding of product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms for managing product workflows.
  • Experience with databases and data querying for gathering and analysing product data to support decision-making.
  • Experience with software development processes, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to work closely with development teams.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable insights.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to convey ideas effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to discussions and driving product initiatives forward.
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development, with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to understand and empathize with user needs, translating them into product features and enhancements.
  • Proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.
