Axe Finance developed Axe Credit Portal (ACP), a future-proof AI-driven solution to automate the entire credit lifecycle from KYC to servicing including origination, credit scoring, and automatic decision-making. ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail, Commercial, Corporate, FIs, and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing, and Islamic finance.

Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 32 countries and more than 45,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire a Business Development Director to join our team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to refresh Axe Finances’ go-to-market strategy for the APAC/ Middle East region.
  • Focus on generating new business revenues, play a leading role in new business pitches and be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients.
  • Develop a robust pipeline in assigned accounts across APAC or Middle East regions.
  • Manage the entire presales & sales process of complex and enterprise length sales cycles.
  • Accountable for the business strategy, planning, marketing, positioning and selling of the software suite (investigation, qualification, exploring across assigned accounts).
  • Lead the preparation of RFP responses, client presentations and proposals etc.
  • Accountable for the business plan and “Go to Market” strategy including planning for marketing events and related budgets.
  • Prepare reports and updates on sales pipeline and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Customer Success to proactively identify additional opportunities within the customer base and lead the sales process for up-sell and cross-sell of additional software modules to said customer base.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pipeline reporting and that activity is regularly updated with latest client developments in CRM.


CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree business administration, marketing, engineering, or equivalent from a leading university.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales with a software developer, preferably within the fintech sector.
  • Experience with enterprise length complex sales cycles.
  • Extensive network across the banking and non-bank FI is highly preferred.
  • International market sales experience, specifically in APAC/ Middle East, is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of new business development, client relationship & account management.
  • History and demonstratable success in winning 7-8 figure enterprise level software deals with Banks and non-Bank FIs throughout the APAC or ME regions.
  • Proficient in drafting business plans and sales forecasts.
  • Client-focused mindset.

  • Excellent levels of English (both written & oral).
