ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail, Commercial, Corporate, FIs, and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing, and Islamic finance.

We are currently seeking to hire a results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. The incumbent will contribute to driving revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to prospecting & lead generation; identify and qualify any potential clients through various channels including Cold Calling, email marketing, social media etc.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to leverage inbound leads and implement lead nurturing strategies.
  • Research markets and named accounts, identify key players and assist with generating interest.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients’ business needs, challenges and goals.
  • Help qualify leads into opportunities using BANT methodology.
  • Contribute to preparing RFP responses, client presentations and proposals etc.
  • Collaborate with senior business development team members to negotiate and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to generating new business and assist with new business pitches.
  • Grow and maintain accurate and up to date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular updates on the lead pipeline and forecast for the management team.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and solutions & effectively communicate product features and benefits to potential clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in engaging in the SEA region and preferably within the Financial Service sector.
  • Degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field from a leading university.
  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the fintech sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial technology & software solutions.
  • International market sales exposure is preferred.
  • Proficient in drafting presentations, pitches, and sales deck.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Client-focused mindset and results oriented.
  • Good negotiation skills and proficiency in relevant sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking & time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment & across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent levels of English (both written & oral).
